Training: Workplace Wellness –
Promoting Mentally Healthy Workplaces

Workplace Wellness is an interactive training program designed to provide employees and managers with practical strategies to manage mental health problems, illness and promote a mentally healthy workplace. It is designed as a workplace awareness, early intervention and prevention program.

Workplace Wellness is about fostering healthy workplace choices and supportive environments, enhancing positive social connections, organisational resilience, and promoting healthy lifestyles. This training also makes good business sense – by addressing mental health issues and engaging in activities that can significantly improve employee engagement and team cohesiveness in the short-term and lead to reduced absenteeism and mental health claims, increased productivity and improved corporate image in the longer term. By investing in your workplace wellness you will benefit from increased knowledge and understanding on what constitutes a mentally healthy workplace and what you can do to support yourself, individuals and teams to alleviate or prevent development of mental health issues.

Workplace Wellness utilises an interactive and informative style to delivering current evidence based techniques to promoting mental health and wellbeing. The interactive delivery style allows for training to be tailored to individuals needs and has opportunities to apply learning through the use of case studies tailored to your workplace.

Since all workplaces have different requirements, agendas, stakeholders and internal stressors, a tailored approach to this training is needed to ensure the training meets your business requirements. Therefore, prior to conducting the training, a thorough assessment of your workplace training needs is highly recommended. Call us on (03) 9527 5443 to discuss.
